The Art of the Classical Guitar II to be Presented at RB Library Discovery Concert

The Discovery Concert series at the Rancho Bernardo Library will present The Art of the Classical Guitar II at 3 pm Saturday, Oct. 14. Performed by award winning guitarist Anthony Cutietta and Renaissance/Baroque music virtuoso Eric Dickerson, this free concert will include solo works from Francesco da Milano and Mauro Giulianni, as well as classical guitar duos from Ferdinando Carulli and Francisco Tarrega. It will conclude with the Brazilian samba Morenita do Brazil. They will also be providing historical insights into the classical guitar as well as its repertoire.

The concert will be held in the community room on the 2nd floor of the library, located at 17110 Bernardo Center Drive, San Diego. The Discovery series of concerts is presented by volunteers at the library to educate the public about various music forms and to expand the opportunity for local musicians to perform and provide insights to their music. There is no charge or donation for this performance and all ages are welcome.
