Average Gas Price Keeps Rising In Poway Area

POWAY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose Monday for the 46th time in the past 49 days, increasing one cent to $3.098, its highest amount since March 31.

The average price has increased 30.1 cents over that span, including one-tenth of a cent on both Saturday and Sunday, according to figures released by the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

It is 3.6 cents more than one week ago and 18.1 cents higher than one month ago, but 63 cents less than one year ago.
