Coronavirus Cases In Poway, San Diego County
There have been 5,065 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in San Diego County.
POWAY, CA — Officials reported 139 new cases of the coronavirus Monday in San Diego County, bringing the region's total to 5,065. Of the cases, 34 have been in Poway.
The number of deaths in the county stood at 175. The death toll remained unchanged for the second day in a row.
Since the coronavirus pandemic first came to the county, 973 people have been hospitalized due to the virus, with 302 placed in intensive care.

A total of 82,116 COVID-19 tests have been conducted. Of the 2,638 tests reported to the county on Monday, 5 percent were positive cases. The 14-day rolling average percentage of positive tests was closing in on 5 percent following significant downward trends in positive case percentages.
