Discovery Isle Students Donate Over 250 Food Items and Pajamas

Students at Discovery Isle on Ted Williams Parkway in Poway recently donated more than 150 nonperishable food items to the San Diego Food Bank. The donations were the result of the school’s annual “Fight Hunger this Holiday Season” program to help feed local families in need during the holiday season.

Additionally, Discovery Isle students held a pajama drive to spread joy and comfort to local children. In partnership with Discovery Isle in Scripps-Poway, students donated 105 pairs of pajamas to local homeless shelters. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of giving back to the community and helping others.
