Closed to boating and fishing Mondays and Tuesdays.

Lake Poway Trout Season: Lake will be stocked Thursday, December 31st with 1,500 lbs of Rainbow Trout

It was a very windy week for any shoreline fishing and the trout bite slowed, but the catfish bite was good over the weekend off the shoreline. Juan B. got some nice catfish fishing close to Jump Off Point Saturday December 26th. Best baits for trout this season have been mini jigs (natural colored or yellow / orange), spinners, and power bait.

When you stop by concessions to buy your permit keep a 6 ft. distance when in line and adhere to the maximum occupancy for the store. Ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information.

When renting a boat everyone still must bring a face covering and wear it when required. Show picture ID at dock after renting a boat at concessions. All occupants of a boat must be from the same household.
