The event at Poway's park also featured demonstrations of specialty hospice programs such as aromatherapy, pet, music and art therapy, a silent auction and music.

The LightBridge Hospice Community Foundation, a non-profit organization that fulfills special requests for hospice patients and their loved ones, hosted a celebration of inspirational people last weekend at Old Poway Park.

Emmet W. Lee, MD, FAAHPM, was honored with the foundation’s inaugural “Light of LightBridge” award for his "outstanding" leadership and "steadfast commitment to shedding light on the lives of others," said Jill Mendlen, Board Chair of LightBridge Hospice Community Foundation.

“He is highly regarded as a brilliant and compassionate clinician in the Palomar Medical Group and is clearly most deserving of this award!”

The event at Poway's park also featured demonstrations of specialty hospice programs such as aromatherapy, pet, music and art therapy, a silent auction and music.
