Update: Missing Teens Found in Poway

Tyler Thorton of Ramona and Ashlee Bizell had been missing since Saturday.

Two teenagers missing since Saturday were found at 6:21 p.m. Friday in Poway, according to the Sheriff's Department. More details to come.

Two teenagers missing since Saturday were last seen in Poway, and the Sheriff’s Department says one of them is possibly being held against her will.

Ashlee Bizell, 17, and Tyler Thorton, 16, are thought to be together and traveling on foot, according to the Sheriff’s Department, and may be in the Poway, Ramona or Lakeside area.

Bizell may be in fear for her safety, and Thorton is known to carry knives, according to the department. Authorities asked the public not to contact them directly if they are seen.

Bizell was described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 145 pounds, brown eyes, long brown hair, last seen wearing a teal tank top and gray sweatpants.

Thorton, a Ramona resident, was described as 6 feet, 5 inches tall, 200 pounds, brown hair and eyes, possibly carrying a backpack.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Jan Caldwell said she could not disclose what prompted suspicions of a safety threat, though the boy reportedly has been known to carry knives.

The Sheriff's Department is asking anyone with information as to their whereabouts to call 911 or San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
