Police Seek Suspect in Carmel Mountain Bank Robbery

San Diego police today sought the man who used a demand note to rob a bank branch Friday afternoon in Carmel Mountain.

The suspect passed the note to a teller at the Comerica Bank at 11608 Carmel Mountain Road about 2:30 p.m. Friday, then took off northbound with an undisclosed amount, San Diego police Officer Frank Cali said. That branch is just east of the Interstate 15 interchange.

He did not show a weapon.

Police described the robber as black, 27-37 years old, 5 feet 4 and about 150 pounds. He was clean shaven and was wearing a blue long-sleeved striped shirt, dark pants and a baseball cap.
