Delegates at the Democratic National Convention got a full dose of Bill Clinton when the former president went off script and more than doubled his nomination speech to 48 minutes. Zingers like “double down on trickledown” and repeated use of “arithmetic” in mocking Mitt Romney’s budget plans delighted the Dems.
