Poway Community Choir to Present Holiday Concert at RB Library

Discovery Concert Series to Feature "Tis the Season" Chorale Show

The Poway Community Choir will perform a holiday concert at 3 pm Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Rancho Bernardo Library. Provided as a free program through the library's Discovery Concert Series, they will present "Tis the Season," a medley of popular holiday songs. The group is operated through the Poway Adult School and is led by Choral Director and founder Nancy Gray.

The choir was started last year by Gray, who taught choir for many years at Poway High School before her recent retirement. Choirs under her direction have performed in national venues including Carnegie Hall, Orchestra Hall in Chicago, Davies Symphony Hall, Segerstrom Center for the Arts and more. The next session at the Poway Adult School will begin in January. Those interested in joining the choir can sign up for the choir class in person at the school, 13626 Twin Peaks Road or online at powayusd.com/pusdctae.

The performance will be in the Rancho Bernardo Library Community Room, 17110 Bernardo Center Drive. The Discovery Concert Series was created for the cultural benefit of the community and to expand the opportunity for talented area musicians to perform in public . These performances are free and open to all ages.
