Speaking of Health, Leilani Vidal Dedicates Life to Local Wellness

Longtime business owner Leilani Vidal has made a name for herself in the health-care industry.

Vidal, a Poway resident for 36 years who graduated from Poway High in 1985, founded Better Health and Wellness Center in Poway in 1992.

She’s also involved in the Foundation for Wellness Professionals and often gives free lectures and workshops on health and all-natural treatments.

Vidal, who has a love for music and has played the saxophone since she was 11, said she is most proud of her three children who attend local schools.

What does Women’s History Month mean to you?

“It is so great to see that women are being recognized for their roles of not only being mothers and wives but honoring the mothers in the work force that are making a great contribution through their creative efforts.”
