Spring Freebie: Celebrate At Rita's Italian Ice In Scripps Ranch

SAN DIEGO, CA – To celebrate spring, Rita's Italian Ice is hosting its 27th annual giveaway on Wednesday, March 20 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

As part of the annual tradition, guests can enjoy a free Italian Ice in a limited-edition First Day of Spring cup at all locations across the country, including in Scripps Ranch.

"We're so excited to celebrate First Day of Spring with our Italian Ice giveaway, it's the perfect way to kick off spring with a sweet start," said Linda Chadwick, Rita's president and CEO. "Guests are welcomed into Rita's on this fun day to try our delicious fresh-made Italian Ice in a variety of flavors, it'll be hard to choose one!"

Rita's expects to give away more than 1 million cups of its classic Italian Ice. And how does free Rita's for a year sound? Snap a photo showing how excited you are about the First Day of Spring, and post it on social media using #RitasFirstDayofSpringContest between March 20 and 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on March 22. Rita's also will celebrate the First Day of Spring by introducing Brookie Dough Cream Ice flavor, a combination of cookie dough and brownie bites.
