Win a Chance to Run Poway's Go Fetch! 5K on Patch

Want to run a 5K while supporting a good cause? Just leave a comment and tell us what your favorite animal is and why.

If you're an animal lover—you clicked on the right page. Poway High School's Humane Society Club is hosting its first Go Fetch! 5K on Saturday, April 13 and Poway Patch readers have a chance to win two free registrations.

The Humane Society Club is a group of 20 students dedicated to changing the lives of animals for the better and Patch is proud to support its mission. Now, you can support its mission on Patch.

To enter the contest leave a comment telling us what your favorite animal is and why. All comments must include full names and be in by 6 p.m. PST on Friday, April 5. A winner will be selected at random and will receive two free registrations to run the Go Fetch! 5K.

Must be a legal resident of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 18 and older. Winner will be selected in a random drawing. The winner will receive two free registrations to the Go Fetch! 5K at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 at Lake Poway Park. Approximate retail value of tickets: $40.
