2 Dead In Fort Irwin Helicopter Crash
Two people reportedly died Saturday when a helicopter crashed at the California military base.
FORT IRWIN, CA -- Two people died Saturday morning after a helicopter crashed at Fort Irwin during a training accident. Fox News reported the incident involved a U.S. Army Apache attack helicopter.
Fox News reported "Both the pilot and the co-pilot were killed, according to Lt. Col. Jason S. Brown, an Army spokesman at the Pentagon."
The helicopter was reportedly flying during a training exercise when it crashed. The helicopter is "attached to the Army’s 4th Infantry Division based out of Fort Carson, Colorado," Fox News reported.

Brown told Fox News the incident is currently under investigation.
Fort Irwin is a training center in the Mojave Desert in northern San Bernardino County.
