After successfully preventing a sexually violent predator from being placed in San Bernardino County, the bureaucrats at Liberty Healthcare are trying to do what a judge has said they couldn’t. Rather than placing SVP Lawtis Donald Rhoden in Orange County, they’re attempting to once again place him in San Bernardino County. Frankly, it seems retaliatory. A judge already determined that in weighing any connection to our county – which is none – and public safety, that this Sexually Violent Predator should be placed in Orange County or Los Angeles County, where he committed his crimes.Once again, we will partner with Supervisor Paul Cook and the residents of San Bernardino County to prevent this placement. There is a hearing on the matter scheduled in the Orange County Superior Court on Friday, July 9th at 1:45 PM in Department N13. Click here at the time of the hearing to tune into the court proceedings to learn more information.
