Annual Blood Cancer Conference to be held in Anaheim on Saturday
Free event organized by Leukemia & Lymphoma Society provides education, resources for patients, survivors, families and healthcare pros

The annual Southern California Blood Cancer Conference will be held this Saturday, March 2nd at the Hilton Anaheim conference center. The free event, presented by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), is an education and support resource for blood cancer patients, survivors, family members, caregivers and healthcare professionals. Registration is free and includes complimentary breakfast, lunch and self-parking.
The conference is organized by three local chapters of LLS - California Southland, Orange County/Inland Empire and San Diego/Hawaii and is designed to meet the needs of patients, survivors, families and oncology professionals, the people who deal with blood cancer every day and the people who care for them. The event is designed to help attendees access local resources in order to make informed decisions about treatment and survivorship.
Conference sessions will include information on treatment options, emerging therapies, management of survivorship issues and other LLS resources. Sessions will be led by experts in the areas of blood cancer research, treatment, and survivorship.

Dan Shapiro, PhD, Vice Dean of Faculty Affairs at Penn State College of Medicine will deliver the keynote address.
The conference will be held at the Hilton Anaheim, 777 W Convention Way, just south of Disneyland and close by the intersection of Harbor Blvd. and Katella Ave. Directions to the conference center can be found at:
