Aspiranet, Starbucks holiday gift drive goes the extra mile at wrapping party of items collected for foster and at-risk youth, Dec. 12

Volunteers will wrap and deliver gifts from month-long holiday drive for San Bernardino youth

This year, Aspiranet partnered with 86 Starbucks stores in San Bernardino County for the annual Holiday Gift drive to collect items for foster and at-risk youth in the area. Thanks to the generosity of many Starbucks customers, a significant number of gifts were donated and will be wrapped by Starbucks employees and volunteers.

The holidays, which can be a difficult time for foster youth who are separated from parents and/or siblings, becomes a time when they feel the support of the community. This gift drive is part of Aspiranet’s larger Starbucks gift drive across the state, which has been running for the past 8 years. Last year, Aspiranet and Starbucks collected and distributed more than 6,000 gifts statewide to foster and at-risk youth.

When: Tuesday, December 12 from 2pm – 4pm. (Wrapping party)

Where: Aspiranet office, 720 E. Carnegie Drive, Suite 250 in San Bernardino

Holiday gift drive at participating Starbucks stores goes until December 17, where customers who wish to participate may select a gift wish of a child or teen in foster care, or at-risk youth. Unwrapped gifts can be returned with the original gift tag attached to the store location where the tag was selected.
