City, SCORE Offer Business QuickBooks Training

From the City of Redlands: The City of Redlands Development Services Department and the Inland Empire chapter of SCORE are co-hosting a workshop on the popular bookkeeping software, QuickBooks, from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, at the Redlands City Hall City Council Chambers, 35 Cajon St, Suite 2/4.

The workshop will cover the basics so users can handle daily bookkeeping and financial tasks the easy way, including company set-up, invoicing, receivables, payments, inventory monitoring, reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements.

Featured presenter is Silvia Guardado, a bilingual tax professional and owner of SMG Business Services. Her business provides proactive and preventive bookkeeping, training, and consulting and tax services. Her goal is to empower small business owners and provide them with the accounting and bookkeeping training and knowledge necessary to make important business decisions.
