Driver Killed In Early Morning Redlands Crash: CHP

A driver died Sunday morning when an SUV left a connector road between the eastbound 10 Freeway and westbound 210 in Redlands, the CHP says.

REDLANDS, CA -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating after a driver died early Sunday morning when a reportedly speeding SUV ran off a connector road between the eastbound 10 Freeway and westbound 210 Freeway in Redlands, according to CHP logs.

The crash was reported shortly after 3 a.m.; witnesses said the SUV left the elevated roadway at its highest point, according to the CHP log; wreckage was strewn across the area.

The only person involved in the crash was the driver, whose identity has not been revealed, pending notification of next of kin by the San Bernardino County Coroner's office.
