Inland Woman Injured In 2017 Las Vegas Shooting Dies
Kim Gervais died at a Redlands nursing facility, becoming the 59th victim of the 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas.

REDLANDS, CA — A San Bernardino county woman who suffered a spinal injury in the 2017 mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas died last week in Redlands, the San Bernardino County coroner said.
Kim Gervais, 57, lived in Mira Loma but had been convalescing at a nursing facility in Redlands, the coroner's office said. She was brought to Redlands Community Hospital on Friday, where she died that afternoon. The coroner's office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Gervais is the 59th victim of what was already the worst mass shooting in U.S. history, committed by a lone gunman who fired from a hotel suite at attendees of the outdoor country music concert.

Gervais went to the concert with two friends, one of whom was killed in the shooting, the Press-Enterprise reported. Gervais's injury left her quadriplegic after an active life spent running a business and riding ATVs in the desert, according to a New York Times article.
