Redlands Municipal Airport to Host Hangar 24 AirFest 2017

The air show will take place from 3-7 p.m. with a Kids Zone from noon to 7 p.m. and live music from noon to 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 to 10 p.m.

From the City of Redlands: The City of Redlands joins Hangar 24 Charities and its sponsors in welcoming the 2017 Hangar 24 AirFest to the Redlands Municipal Airport from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 20.

The air show will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. with a Kids Zone from noon to 7 p.m. and live music from noon to 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 to 10 p.m.

Performers will include the U.S. Navy West Coast Super Hornet Demonstration Team, the Patriots Jet Team, U.S. Marine Corps Osprey, the Red Eagles Formation Team, Smoke-n-Thunder JetCar, aerobatics demonstrations, and flybys by a U.S. Air Force C-17, a KC-135 and T-38s.

Temporary flight restrictions will be in place at the airport from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. during the practice day, Friday, May 19, and from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the day of the show. Airport hangars will be closed during the temporary flight restrictions on the day of the show.

The Redlands Municipal Airport is located on Sessums Drive near the northern end of Wabash Avenue about 2 miles northeast of downtown Redlands.
