Redlands Quality Of Life Dept Offers Beginning Watercolor Classes

The classes will last for four weeks and will provide step by step lessons on watercolors with artist Cindy Sullivan.

From The City of Redlands: Come and paint the town! The City of Redlands Quality of Life Department Recreation Division is offering a new month of beginning watercolor classes. This successful step-by-step series of watercolor lessons, taught by local Redlands artist Cindy Sullivan, will incorporate perspective, a spring palette and a country garden full of fabulous flowers to paint one of the charming jewels of Redlands, an 1895 Victorian-era farmhouse.

The four-week series will be offered from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, April 4-25. Thursday evening classes are offered from 7 to 8:30 p.m. April 7-28.

Basic techniques, proper use of supplies and basic color mixing will be covered. Each month, a simple, step by step project is demonstrated and students are guided through it with individual attention during class. Bring your watercolor supplies and good paper to the first class. A suggested supply list is provided at registration.
