Elizabeth Lipke, former CEO of Bourns Employees Federal Credit Union for the past 10 years, will now be a small business owner for the first time. Lipke’s family has been in the contracting business for over 40 years, so it was a bit of a homecoming to open up her own CertaPro Painters in her hometown at 5225 Canyon Crest #71-275 in Riverside.
Lipke was attracted to CertaPro Painters because it is a well-respected franchisor, the largest residential painting company in North America and provides structure to ensure her success. Lipke is very well aware of the effects of the recent recession on Riverside businesses and families, but with housing prices becoming more stabilized in most neighborhoods, she sees the market regaining its strength and feels it’s the perfect time to be in the home improvement industry.
