HD VIDEO: Dark Isle Pipe Band Live - Everyone Irish for St. Pat's Weekend
The craft brewery was scheduled to remain open until midnight Saturday and re-open at 11 a.m. Sunday. The Dark Isle Pipe Band, also known as the Scottish Rejects, plan to perform Sunday in Banning, Palm Springs, Palm Desert and Riverside.
People of all ages and ethnic backgrounds got their St. Patrick's Day weekend started Saturday at Hangar 24 Craft Brewery in Redlands with help from the Dark Isle Pipe Band, who hail from Yucaipa, Beaumont and Upland.
Hangar 24 was scheduled to remain open until midnight March 16, and re-open at 11 a.m. on Sunday for St. Pat's Day proper. Hangar 24 is at 1710 Sessums Drive. For more details visit hangar24brewery.com.

- Schmidy's Tavern in Palm Desert, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. March 17. Schmidy's is at 72286 State Route 111.

The band members are Tress Maksimuk and Lela Perriello, both of Yucaipa, Valerie Byrnes of Upland, and David Lopez of Beaumont. Guest drummer Ed Best of Riverside was with the band Saturday, Maksimuk said.
Perriello works for the San Bernardino County sheriff's Coroner Division. Members played at the candlelight vigil, memorial service and fundraisers for sheriff's Detective Jeremiah MacKay, a leading Inland Empire bagpiper who was killed Feb. 12 in the final shootout with ex-LAPD cop Christopher Dorner.
