WDB posts COVID-19 resource guide

The San Bernardino County Workforce Development Board (WDB) has established an online resource guide for businesses and individuals impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

The guide, available here, provides information and links on a variety of topics, including:

– The new federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES) and SBA loans for small businesses

– Tax and payroll assistance available through the California Employment Development Department

– Unemployment insurance claims

– Safety in the workplace

– Contributions for medical supplies

– Services available through WDBs three America’s Job Centers of California

– WDB’s Rapid Response and Layoff Aversion programs for businesses experiencing difficulty

– Upcoming webinars for businesses on topics related to the pandemic

WDB is working closely with its business and economic development partners to gauge specific needs within the county, and will update its online-resource information as it becomes available.
