4 Arrested In Redondo Beach Shooting Following Overnight Manhunt
Residents in a Redondo Beach neighborhood spent the night sheltering in place while police searched for armed men wanted in a fatal shooting
REDONDO BEACH, CA — A manhunt in Redondo Beach ended with four suspects in custody Sunday in connection with the shooting death of another man.
Police spent the night Saturday searching for four men considered armed and dangerous while residents in the area of the police perimeter were instructed to lock their doors and stay inside.
It started with a shooting reported at about 8 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of North Juanita Avenue, according to Redondo Beach police Lt. Shawn Freeman. Officers arrived on the scene to find a mortally wounded man. The gunshot victim was rushed by paramedics to a hospital and pronounced dead, Freeman said.

Police arrived in time to find the suspects leaving in a vehicle, which sped off and was later abandoned, Freeman said.
Police set up a containment area to search for the suspects. The perimeter was on Prospect Avenue between Torrance Boulevard and Camino Real in South Redondo Beach and West Torrance, police said. Authorities searched for hours while residents sheltered in place. By 11 p.m., police had found two of the suspects and continued to search until they found the other two.
