Beach Cities Health District Board Election 2020: 3 Seats Open

Voters will head to the polls Tuesday to vote for three of the six candidates vying to represent Beach Cities Health District.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan Beach residents will choose Tuesday which candidates they want to represent them as Beach Cities Health District member of the Board of Directors.

Many voters have already cast their ballot via early voting or mail-in voting due to the pandemic. Voting centers are open and people can also drop off ballots there.

There are six candidates for Beach Cities Health District member of the Board of Directors, which is a 4-year term.

"The Board of Directors of the Beach Cities Health District consists of five (5) Directors, each of whom must be a registered voter residing in the District (see map of jurisdiction)," according to Beach Cities Health District's website.

Voters will also decide which of the three candidates running for West Basin District 3 will fill the one open seat for a 4-year term.

These are the six candidates on the ballot for Board of Directors — Beach Cities Health District:

Fasen, Komatinsky and Koo are challengers in the race. Chatterji, Diehl and Poster are incumbents.
