BeachLife Festival Announces Culinary Lineup For SideStage
Festivalgoers can eat a prix fixe menu made by a top chef alongside the main stage performances at the Redondo Beach festival.
REDONDO BEACH, CA — The BeachLife Festival announced the culinary lineup for its SideStage pop-up restaurant experience Tuesday.
Festivalgoers can dine alongside the main stage performances at the May 3-5 event in Redondo Beach. Executive Chef David Lefevre, owner of Manhattan Beach Post and Fishing with Dynamite, has hand-selected three guest chefs for the SideStage restaurant: Bravo TV Top Chef Nyesha Arrington, James Beard award winner Sherry Yard, and rising star Chef Jonathan Whitener, the BeachLife Festival news release said.
"I'm excited to team up with BeachLife again and to build on the tremendous dining experience we offered last year," Lefevre said. "Cooking on stage while collaborating with iconic musicians is the most unique food and concert experience I’ve ever been a part of. It's a true bucket-list experience for food and music lovers."

BeachLife co-founder Allen Sanford is a restaurateur himself, so the idea to merge food and live music "was a no-brainer," the news release said. This year at the SideStage, much of the action will take place during headlining sets, but the pop-up restaurant will also offer a brunch option on Saturday with Sugar Ray, and a "Yacht Rock" brunch featuring Ambrosia & Friends on Sunday.
SideStag diners will also have exclusive access to a dedicated viewing area for photos starting five minutes after each set starts, and will receive a signed menu as a takeaway, the news release said.

SideStage has a $150 per person prix fixe menu, excluding tax/tip, with alcohol sold separately. There will be a premium full cash bar and specially curated wine list only available on the SideStage, the news release said.
Festivalgoers can make reservations for all three days of the festival — 3 p.m. Friday is the first slot, and reservations will last about 90 minutes. Reservations are extremely limited and will only be permitted to those with BeachLife tickets purchased. Reservations can be made through the BeachLife website starting Wednesday. Reservations are non-refundable and there are no cancellations.
