REDONDO BEACH, CA — It's that time of year — and although some things are different — people are still putting out their best and spookiest Halloween looks.
Here are some of the best haunts in town from Patch readers.

"Halloween is a favorite at our house," Kimberly Smith in Redondo Beach told Patch. "We will be doing pumpkin carving and watching scary movies."
Pacific Coast Highway and Hawthorne Boulevard
"We usually have a small Haunted house inside as well, that the neighbors love. But, unfortunately that will not happen this year," Cathy Olmos in Torrance told Patch.
She and her husband have decorated their home with tons of decorations for the past 16 years and this is the first year they will not have their traditional haunted house. Instead, they're trying something new.
"We will be participating in "One-Way" Trick-or-Treating and handing out bags of candy via a candy slide," Olmos told Patch.

This haunted spot is an annual tradition, Michael Majid in Rancho Palos Verdes told Patch.
"We do it every year and have smoke, lights, animated props, singing," Majid said.
