Dad, A WWII Fighter Pilot: Redondo Beach Father's Day Photo

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Father's Day is almost here, and Patch is celebrating with fun photos of California dads and their kids!

Judy Koffroth, of Redondo Beach, sent in these heartwarming pictures and said, "I loved him so much."

Her father, David Giltner, was a WWII figher pilot in 91 missions, she said. The second photo is of Judy and her father later in life. David passed away in 2011, one month before his 90th birthday.
