Heat Advisory Issued For Redondo Beach
The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for Los Angeles County starting Tuesday.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory, warning of elevated fire weather conditions for Redondo Beach, Santa Monica, Malibu, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Los Angeles and Long Beach from Tuesday through Friday.
The warning is in effect from 11 a.m. Tuesday to 5 p.m. Friday. Daytime high temperatures are expected to reach 90 to 95 degrees, except 95 to 100 degrees in the Hollywood Hills. Overnight low temperatures are expected in the 60s.

Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62. West southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming east southeast after midnight.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 82. Light and variable wind becoming west southwest 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday night: Clear, with a low around 61. West southwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming light west northwest in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 82. North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the morning.
Wednesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 82.
Thursday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 82.
Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 77.
Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78.
"Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses to occur," according to the NWS. "Those without air conditioning will be especially vulnerable during this extended heat wave."
People are advised to drink lots of water, stay in an air-conditioned area and stay out of the sun. Neighbors and families should check up on each other and young children and pets should never be left alone or unattended in vehicles.
