King of the Harbor Skateboard Championships Coming To Redondo Beach
The free event will include professional skater and local celebrity "Wee Man" Jason Acuna.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – The King of the Harbor Skateboard Championships are Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Redondo Beach Pier-Octagon area next to basin 3 and the boardwalk. The free event put on by the Redondo Beach Police Department will go from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All levels of skaters between the ages 8- to 18-years-old are invited to participate and compete, the press release said.
Professional skater and local celebrity “Wee Man” Jason Acuna will be there to skate, judge, sign autographs and present awards. Skaters can register online at www.redondo.org/police. Waivers must be signed by parents or legal guardians for skaters under 18 years of age and helmets are required, and all registered participants will receive a free T-shirt!
