Welcome to the 2021 election season in Redondo Beach, California. One thing is for sure, it’s never boring. The upside of things is that we get a chance to make decisions for our city. The downside is that it can get hostile and messy. Covid is not helping. Candidates cannot go door-to-door like traditional election campaigning calls for. So, for now, I will try to provide you with insight and content to help you make your decisions about who you plan to vote for. Mostly, I just want you to vote. Only about 25% of registered Redondo Beach residents vote in elections but the decisions of the leaders affect everybody. My goal is to get you energized enough about some of the issues so much so that you will be hell-bent on voting this March.

Let’s get this party started with City Councilman John Gran. He is a 22-year resident of Redondo Beach and running for re-election of his district 4 seat. Our conversations lead me to believe that he genuinely loves Redondo Beach, especially the North Redondo area. Jon has a track record of progress and results for our neighborhoods. His work spans various organizations in Redondo Beach. What is apparent is that John loves to serve. Take a listen to his own words and thoughts about leadership on my podcast, Leaders & Learners. Let me know your thoughts.
