Man Hit By Union Pacific Train On Redondo Beach Boulevard

Paramedics took the man to a hospital, but his condition was not known, authorities said.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – A man was struck by a Union Pacific train Wednesday while walking in the Harbor Gateway area and suffered unspecified injuries.

The man was hit about 11:30 a.m. at Redondo Beach Boulevard and Vermont Avenue near Gardena, according to Los Angeles police Officer Drake Madison.

Paramedics took the man to a hospital, but his condition was not known, Madison said.
