Redondo Beach Crime: Stolen Face Cream

The following information was supplied by the Redondo Beach Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The Redondo Beach Police Department recently dealt with multiple commercial and residential burglaries, according to the department's Part I Crime Recap  covering reports received Feb. 22-27.

Commercial burglaries in Redondo Beach

Bottles of face cream were reported stolen from a business in the 600 block of North Pacific Coast Highway around 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 26. The suspect reportedly concealed the items and left the store without paying.

A burglar cut open a window screen of a business in the 300 block of South PCH sometime at night between Feb. 23-24 and stole coin change from the cash register.

Several gift cards were purchased using fraudulent credit cards from a business in the 1600 block of Kingsdale Avenue on the afternoon of Feb. 22. The items were recovered. The following people were arrested in connection to the incident: Daniel Kieth Flores, Grey Williams, Monte McDaniel, Antonette Yvonne Lambey, Charisa Joiner.

Two suspects were arrested in connection with the theft of merchandise from a business in the 1800 block of Hawthorne Boulevard on Feb. 22 at 4:30 p.m. The suspects were reportedly concealing items in a baby stroller and personal bags, taking them to their car and returning to take more. The items were recovered. Cindy Xiaoxia and Shunxi Liang were arrested.

Residential burglaries in Redondo Beach

A car parked in an underground garage in the 300 block of South Prospect Avenue was broken into overnight between Feb. 19-20. An iPad, laptop, personal checks and other papers were reported stolen.

Two suspects reportedly entered a residence through an open rear door in the 2900 block of Perkins Lane sometime in the morning of Feb. 19. Unknown items may have been taken.

Vehicle burglaries in Redondo Beach

A 2003 Dodge Ram parked in the 2900 block of Perkins Lane was broken into sometime between Feb. 20-22. The window of the truck shell was smashed, and a car stereo, power tool and household goods were reported stolen.

A 2007 Saturn Ion parked in the 1600 block of South Catalina Avenue was broken into through a window sometime overnight between Feb. 22-23. A CD case, CD's and sunglasses were stolen.

A 2007 Toyota Prius parked in the 2400 block of Rockefeller was broken into through a window overnight between Feb. 20-21. A Verizon Galaxy tablet was reported stolen.

Stolen vehicles in Redondo Beach

A 2013 Hyundai Elantra reported stolen Feb. 24 from the 100 block of Harbor Drive was recovered by police on Feb. 25.

Someone attempted to steal a 2001 Toyota Corolla parked in the 2400 block of Vanderbilt Lane by removing the steering column but the attempt was unsuccessful.

A silver 2003 Honda Pilot was reported stolen overnight between Feb. 20-21 from the 1800 block of Marshallfield. The license plate is 5ATU115.

Someone attempted to steal a red 2002 Honda Accord parked in the 2500 block of Clark Lane the night of Feb. 19 by removing the steering column but the attempt was unsuccessful.

A 2000 Chevy pick-up previously reported stolen on Feb. 12 was recovered in Torrance on Feb. 13.
