Redondo Beach Middle School Student Offered Football Scholarship By Ex-Trojans Coach
Lane Kiffin reportedly offered a scholarship to 13-year-old Kaden Martin, the son of Tee Martin, USC's current offensive coordinator.
REDONDO BEACH, CA — A Redondo Beach middle school student has been offered a football scholarship by Florida Atlantic University coach Lane Kiffin, according to TMZ.
The gossip site reported that Kiffin offered the scholarship to 13-year-old Kaden Martin, the son of the current offensive coordinator at USC, Tee Martin. The elder Martin was a standout football quarterback at the University of Tennessee, leading the Volunteers to a BCS National Championship.
The younger Martin is already showing potential in both football and baseball, according to Fox Sports. Kaden Martin is already 5-feet-11-inches tall and weigh 175 pounds. He reportedly has an 80 mph fastball.
