Thanksgiving 2020 Grocery Store Hours In Redondo Beach

REDONDO BEACH, CA — While Thanksgiving Day feasts are likely to be a little smaller this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, that doesn’t mean we’re less likely to forget the cranberry sauce, the gravy or the whipped topping for the pumpkin pie.

It’s a terrible feeling — but, luckily, there’s a list of grocery stores that will be open in Redondo Beach for those emergency and last-minute shopping trips.

In contrast to previous years, retail giants Target and Walmart will not be open on Thanksgiving.

Both chains made the decision in response to the coronavirus pandemic. In a statement released on its website, Target said the company’s goal is to "make the holiday shopping experience simple, safe, and stress-free.”

Here are the hours for grocery stores that will be open on Thanksgiving Day, along with a list of those that won’t:

CVS: Most stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Pharmacy hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day.

Ralph’s: Most stores will be open 5 a.m. to midnight.

• 1413 Hawthorne Blvd, Redondo Beach

Rite Aid: The majority of stores will be open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Call ahead to confirm hours.

• 1720 Aviation Blvd, Redondo Beach
• 401 N Pacific Coast Hwy, Redondo Beach

Vons: Stores will be open Thanksgiving. Call ahead to confirm hours.

• 4001 Inglewood Ave., Redondo Beach
• 4705 Torrance Blvd., Torrance
• 410 Manhattan Beach Blvd., Manhattan Beach

Pavilion's: Stores will be open Thanksgiving from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• 7 Peninsula Center, Rolling Hills Estates

Whole Foods: Hours vary by location. Many stores open at 7 a.m. and close as early as 2 p.m.

• 405 N Pacific Coast Hwy, Redondo Beach

Gelson's Market: Hours vary by location. Many stores open from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. for seniors and 7 to 11 a.m. for general public.
