Vehicle Pursuit From Torrance Ends In Crash In Redondo Beach

REDONDO BEACH, CA — A police pursuit from Torrance ended in a crash in North Redondo Beach Sunday night, authorities said.

Redondo Beach police assisted Torrance police following the end of a vehicle pursuit and crash near Grant Avenue and Felton Lane around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, according to Redondo Beach Police Department.

The suspect, whose name was not immediately released, was taken into custody.

A helicopter was overhead in the area. Traffic on Grant Avenue and adjacent streets were impacted for a short period, police said.
