Water Main Break Floods Redondo Beach Street, Prompts Closure

REDONDO BEACH, CA — A water main break prompted street closures in Redondo Beach Tuesday night, officials said.

Redondo Beach police and firefighters were responding to a water main break near southbound Prospect Avenue and Garnet Street about 5:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Southbound Prospect Avenue was closed off and traffic was diverted in the area.

"The duration of the closure is unknown at this time," officials said. "Please use alternate routes."
