SAN DIEGO, CA — What hospital officials said was the first child born in San Diego County in 2021 was delivered early Friday at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns.
Delmar Hawke was delivered at 12:05 a.m. to parents Melissa and Nicholas Hawke of San Diego, Bruce Hartman from Sharp HealthCare told City News Service. She was their third child.
Delmar Hawke weighed in at 6 pounds, 3 ounces, Hartman said.
