Apple TV+ made big waves of excitement in Hall H during its San Diego Comic-Con debut, dazzling the crowd with a panel for the studio's widely popular TV show, "Severance."

The psychological thriller series, which recently garnered 14 Emmy nominations, follows employees who have their personal memories entirely erased every time they clock in for work, rendering them isolated from the outside world.

The first season ended on a thought-provoking cliffhanger, leaving fans deeply intrigued about the second season. Series creator Dan Erickson offered some clues, stating that season two could delve into the paradigm shift that is caused by the mental block.

"I'm excited to build out the world a little bit more and see with this one slight tweak to reality what the different ramifications would be," Erickson said.

And for those who are wondering about the mysterious goats, the second season will reveal their significance.

Executive producer and director Ben Stiller also shared his thoughts on Erickson's script after his first read. He recalled that it had the vibes of some of the popular workplace-comedy shows and movies.

"This reminded me of some of my favorite office comedies, like 'Office Space,'" Stiller said. "Sometimes this feels like a scene from 'Parks and Rec' or 'The Office.' The comedy aspect was always important, but when you're making a show that isn't a comedy, there's less pressure to be funny."
