Brush Fire Shuts Down Camino Del Rio West
Camino Del Rio West in Mission Valley was shut down Sunday morning as crews battled a small brush fire.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A small brush fire in Mission Valley forced the closure of Camino Del Rio West in both directions Sunday morning.
The fire broke out underneath Interstate 8 near a shopping center. Shortly after 10 a.m., the San Diego Police Department announced the complete road closure.
Smoke from the blaze could be seen for miles, and it slowed traffic along Interstate 8.
