I-5 Lanes Reopened After Truck Fire Near Del Mar Heights
The vehicle fire was reported at 1:44 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

SAN DIEGO, CA β A truck fire forced the closure of several lanes Monday afternoon on Interstate 5 in North County.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to a report of a commercial truck with flames in its open bed at 1:44 p.m. on southbound I-5, just north of Interstate 805. The three right lanes of the freeway were blocked due to the fire, according to Caltrans. All lanes were reopened by about 2:40 p.m.
The driver of the truck was not injured, according to CHP Officer Mary Bailey.
