Discovery Isle Preschool Plants Friendship Garden for Earth Day

Students observed Earth Day by creating colorful gardens around their school

Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in San Marcos celebrated Earth Day on April 22 by planting flowers around their school to create a friendship garden. Each student brought in a plant or flowers of their choosing, and planted them around campus to create colorful a garden that will benefit the environment.

Leading up to Earth Day, students learned about the important role of plants, flowers and trees in creating oxygen and providing food. They also discussed ways that they can help keep Earth healthy. Discovery Isle Preschool teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at an early age.
