Bonita, CA — A fire erupted Tuesday morning near the Chula Vista Municipal Golf Course in the Bonita area, but no one was injured.
Shortly before 6 a.m., smoke and flames were spotted coming from an open field behind a driving range along Bonita Road near Willow Street, but the fire was later extinguished, according to the California Highway Patrol and fire officials
No structures were damaged, a Chula Vista fire dispatcher said.
