Motorcyclist Injured In Crash In San Diego's Lincoln Park Area

SAN DIEGO, CA — A 23-year-old motorcyclist sustained a fractured left foot in a crash with a car Thursday in the Lincoln Park area of San Diego.

The rider was struck about 3:45 p.m. in the 1200 block of South 47th Street, near Solola Avenue, when the driver of a 2002 Toyota Camry did not see the motorcyclist and made a left turn directly in the path of the rider, according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.

The rider was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Heims said.

No arrest was reported.

The name of the injured rider was not disclosed.
