Palomar Mountain Tom Turkey: Photo Of The Day

SAN DIGEO COUNTY, CA — Patch reader and Oceanside resident Bob Thompson captured this photo March 12 of a turkey less than a mile from Palomar Mountain State Park.

"This colorful tom turkey, along with approximately 30 hen turkeys, were foraging for food beside the road, in the snow," he said.
