The Rolling Stones Postpone Tour Due To Coronavirus
The Rolling Stones have postponed the "No Filter Tour," which was set to kick off in May in San Diego.
SAN DIEGO, CA β The Rolling Stones have postponed the "No Filter Tour" due to the coronavirus pandemic. The tour was set to kick off May 8 at SDCCU Stadium in San Diego.
"We're hugely disappointed to have to postpone the tour," the band said in a statement. "We are sorry to all the fans who were looking forward to it as much as we were, but the health and safety of everyone has to take priority. We will all get through this together β and we'll see you very soon."
The band is the latest act to postpone or cancel performances in San Diego County. Chicago was scheduled to perform Tuesday at Sycuan Casino, and Pearl Jam postponed an April performance.

The county on Monday banned all public and private gatherings of 50 or more people. Officials strongly discouraged gatherings of 10 people or more.
As of Monday, 47 county residents have tested positive for coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, as well as four people under federal quarantine and four non-county residents, according to officials.
