San Diego County To Buy Campo’s Star Ranch: Report

CAMPO, CA — San Diego County and the U.S. Navy are joining forces to buy Star Ranch — a 2,151 property in Campo — and add it to San Diego’s conservation land, The Sn Diego Union-Tribune reports.

According to the publication, the purchase was approved unanimously by the county’s board of supervisors on Tuesday.

The new land will be added to the approximately 23,000 acres of conservation land the county owns.
