Santa Margarita River: Photo Of The Day

SAN DIGEO COUNTY, CA — Patch reader and Oceanside resident Bob Thompson captured this photo Feb. 19 of the Santa Margarita River.

"It takes approximately 30 minutes from my home in Oceanside to get to Santa Margarita Preserve in Fallbrook," Thompson explained. "There is a large parking lot for this unique natural area with trails which follow the Santa Margarita River."
